Key Ingredients
The Good Stuff

Silymarin (Milk Thistle Seed)
Silybum Marianum (Milk Thistle) is one of the oldest and most well-known medicinal plants, mainly used for its liver-supportive and liver-protective properties, and for providing nutritional support to the liver in individuals with NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease).
Milk thistle has also been frequently studied in conjunction with pharmaceuticals for its ability to protect the liver against unintended negative effects, often without decreasing medication effectiveness.
Artichoke Extract
Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) has a long history of use for hepatic support. In traditional herbal medicine, artichoke is recommended to help move bile from the liver, used as a liver protector, as an antioxidant, and for digestive concerns.
Turmeric (Curcumin Phytosome)
Turmeric has been used traditionally in both Chinese and Ayurvedic systems of medicine to support liver function. The primary efficacious agent in turmeric is curcumin. Curcumin is a potent antioxidant that offers numerous health benefits, including support for the liver.
Curcumin's hepatoprotective activity is due to its strong antioxidant activity and potential to maintain the body's normal inflammatory response in the liver.

Phytosome Technology
The Thorne Difference
Thorne's high quality curcumin and milk thistle are prepared with a patented technology that allows for superior absorption as compared with conventional formulations.
In a phytosome complex, curcumin molecules are bound to phospholipid molecules, which can result in 29-times more curcumin absorption than with the use of straight curcumin.
The milk thistle flavonoid silybin is naturally water soluble, but it is made lipid-friendly by being complexed with phospholipids. The result is that, in addition to superior absorption into the bloodstream, the phytosome preparation achieves better incorporation of this liver-protective flavonoid into liver cell membranes, and direct delivery into the hepatocytes (liver cells).
It's perfect. It's 150 mg of artichoke. Administer 150 mg of curcumin. It's so nice to go in together. I was thinking between Silipos and myself. I think I bought it well. I bought two bottles, but I used them all, so I repurchased three in advance. Artichoke extract (leaf). It's curcumin phytosome.
Been taking this wonderful supplement for about a month and I feel great. So happy I will continue to buy.
I like this product but T.A.P.S. worked much better.
Taking S.A.T. for two months, and it has drastically improved my AST and ALT liver values!
When our liver enzyme numbers (AST or ALT) go up, we use S.A.T. and it always seems to work.
